About Uganda National Examinations Board

The Uganda National Examinations Board is a body corporate established under Cap.137 Laws of Uganda. Its Vision is “A Recognized Centre of Globally Competitive Educational Assessment and Certification” and its mission is “Conduct Valid, Reliable, Equitable and Quality Assessment of Learners’ Achievement in a Professional and Innovative Manner and Award Internationally Recognized Certificates”.

UNEB Scouting Criteria

All Ugandans are eligible for recruitment as UNEB Scouts if they meet the following criteria. They should be;

• Practicing qualified and registered teachers.
• Seasoned scouts, Chief invigilators, setters, etc., have rendered invaluable services to UNEB.
• Practicing or retired educationists with a good track record of performance.
• Persons of unquestionable integrity and honesty, with no record of involvement in any form of examination malpractice.
• Knowledgeable and conversant with the regulations on the conduct of examinations.
• Able to exercise good judgment and make correct decisions regarding the field conduct of the examinations.
